MNF: Packers -6.5 at Giants (-110)

Green Bay is hot right now, and perhaps New York is too? The Packers have won three straight games, reviving their hopes in the NFC playoff race and creating some chatter about Jordan Love potentially being the next great QB in Wisconsin after Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. They beat the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes a week ago, coming off a stunning win against the Lions on Thanksgiving.

And while the Giants aren’t going to make the postseason, they’ve rallied with Tommy DeVito under center to take down the Commanders and Patriots. He’ll remain the starter, even though Tyrod Taylor is now healthy. He and rookie wide receiver Jalin Hyatt managed to find some chemistry last time out against New England, as Hyatt went for five catches and 109 yards. It’s not the season New York fans wanted, but the future might be promising, although they have to figure out how they’re going to handle the Daniel Jones contract.

And while the victories were fun, you can’t ignore what Green Bay has done recently. In games the Packers were underdogs by significant spreads, they went into Detroit and found a way to leave with a win and also beat Kansas City with Taylor Swift in the building. Not only have they saved their season, they’re doing it against good teams. This Packers squad has come a long way since their 2-5 start, and it wouldn’t be shocking to seem the playing in the playoffs. Head coach Matt LaFleur is a winner, and he’s getting the most out of a bunch many thought was a year or two away.

Meanwhile for the Giants, you can’t sugarcoat what a disappointing stretch it’s been. A year after winning a postseason game, they’ve crashed back to Earth. Injuries haven’t helped, but people expected more. They lost to the Cowboys by 32 and 40 points in their two meetings and have also gotten crushed by the 49ers (18 points), Seahawks (21 points), Dolphins (15 points) and Raiders (24 points). When they lose, they tend to lose big.

Steve Quinne’s Pick: Packers -6.5

Whether or not Love turns into a star remains to be seen, but he’s thrown for at least 260 yards in his last four games. Christian Watson is unfortunately out, but he’s developed chemistry with guys like Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks and still has plenty of weapons. The return of running back Aaron Jones feels like a possibility, and even if he can’t go, AJ Dillon has done an admirable job of filling in. There’s something about the Packers and quarterbacks, and it appears to be something they usually get right. New York is starting a QB they could’ve never imagined three months ago — and DeVito could be overwhelmed against a swarming Green Bay defense. Look for this one to lean towards a blowout, as the Packers roll 27-13.

MNF: Dolphins -13 vs. Titans (-110)

The Dolphins are hunting the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and they’re definitely on a roll. They’ve won their last two games big, taking down the Jets by 21 and Commanders by 30. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill looks a like a legit non-QB MVP candidate and Miami doesn’t just score on you, the Fins have the ability to run it up. Winners of four of their last five games, the 9-3 Dolphins are hoping for the path to the Super Bowl goes through South Beach. Head coach Mike McDaniel might be quirky and fun, but he clearly knows what he’s doing. If Hill can’t get the top honor in the sport, it might go to his QB, Tua Tagovailoa.

In Tennessee, it’s been another blah season. The Titans have transitioned from Ryan Tannehill to Will Levis, but a quick initial spark that seems to have worn off. The Titans are 1-4 over their last five games and coming off a devastating 31-28 loss to the Colts in overtime. They’ve scored 17 points or fewer in four of their last five outings, with last week being the lone exception. Perennial Pro Bowler Derrick Henry could be getting frustrated, as he watches his career get longer while not sniffing a Lombardi Trophy. He did manage to rush for 102 yards against Indianapolis.

In Miami, there’s the most hope since Dan Marino was at QB. Tagovailoa was third in the NFL in yards entering this week, with nearly 3,500, and tied for second in touchdowns with 24. He’s with Dak Prescott and Josh Allen atop that list, which is pretty good company to be in. Hill was first in the NFL in receiving yards by a wide margin, easily topping the rest of the league with 1,481. His 12 touchdowns were two ahead of Mike Evans for most in the NFL, clearly proving he’s the most dynamic weapon in the league. Don’t sleep on Jaylen Waddle either, as his 743 yards through the air and three touchdowns are also very respectable. Combined with a crazy good rushing attack, Miami can score with the best of them.

For the Titans, it feels like a rebuild in a division that has been taken over by the Jaguars. They’re a stunning 0-6 on the road and have lost games by 24 points to the Browns, 14 points to the Buccaneers and 20 points to the Jaguars. Frankly, they’re just not very good right now, and have the potential to get blown out on any given night. Heck, Tennessee’s only win since October has come against the 1-11 Panthers in an ugly 17-10 game. It’s hard to trust them, let alone to keep things close.

Steve Quinne’s Pick: Dolphins -13 (-110)

Miami has won games this season by 50 points, 15 points, 21 points, 14 points, 21 points and 30 points. The Dolphins are more than capable of covering something that feels like a ridiculous number in an NFL game. While Tagovailoa and Hill get all the headlines, do not sleep on Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane. In the rushing attack they’ve combined for more than 1,300 yards and 21 touchdowns. 21! That’s a wild number for a team that has zero problem finding the end zone. Not only are the Dolphins winning, but they’re also winning big. All those stars will be on display on Monday night, as Miami absolutely boatraces the Titans out of town by a final score of 41-10.
