SuperBook Bar & Restaurant will make its debut next week when the Baltimore Orioles host the New York Yankees on April 6th for the home opener at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The mobile sports betting lounge will take the place of Dempsey’s Brew Pub in the warehouse at 333 W. Camden St.

SuperBook will not actually be a sports book where patrons can place retail bets, instead it will be a sports bar where patrons can place mobile bets on their phones. SuperBook is hoping to have its own mobile betting app live in Maryland in time for sports bar’s official grand opening in May. Until the SportsBook app is live, patrons will have to use other mobile betting apps.

SuperBook Sports Director of Marketing Kristin Mackey said there are currently no plans to make SuperBook Bar & Restaurant a retail sports betting location, but didn’t rule it out in the future.

The bar will have a number of of televisions and sports tickers with betting lines for games. SuperBook is modeling the experience after the SuperBook at the Westgate Las Vegas.

Mackey said the restaurant space was given “a facelift.” Construction is still being completed.

The menu at SuperBook will be “elevated gameday fare,” according to Levy Regional Chef Adam Carter. It will have loaded tater tots called the Grand Slam Totcho; crab dip in a pretzel bread bowl; a pit beef sandwich named after Boog Powell; and additional dishes including ones paying homage to the menu used for the opening of the Camden Club on the seventh floor of the building in 1992.

SuperBook still has the brewing equipment from Dempsey’s, but will not be brewing beer at this time. The bar will offer draft beer and cocktails.

SuperBook will currently only be open during Orioles homes games.
